Rangdum is a magical place, its situated at about 4000 mt , where the air is rarefied and in the winter the temperature can reach -30 degrees. The monastery is 30 minutes away from the little village, by foot, and every morning you can see little kids which, riding sheeps, arrive at the monastery to conduct a Monk life. The nearest big village is 2 days away by car, the elements there are very pure and a great peace reigns. Even there, inside the monastery hall, there is a Stupa which keeps the ashes of the abbot, but it has to be restored and it has to regain the beauty that it deserves.
