WHO IS STUPA ONLUS

• A not-for-profit organization, established in Pisa, Italy in 2007. The founders represent 12 countries and unite in a common vision to provide practical, humanitarian solutions to  everyday problems (including agriculture, medicine, education and basic hygiene) in Himalayan Villages associated with restoration of ancient Buddhist Symbols. All positive energy produced in each project is dedicated to purify the internal and external causes of problems such as the death from hunger of 24.000 beings in the world each day

NEW TRIP -  SUMMER 2010 IN LADAKH - ZANSKAR

 

Dear Friends, Stupa Builders and Founders

 

Following you’ll find the information of the new trip we have organized from July 18 to August 8 in Ladakh and Zanskar.

In the first part we will have the opportunity to follow the teachings of S.S. the Dalai Lama in the marvelous context of Nubra Valley, set among the Himalaya north mountains of Leh-Ladakh.

We will be also introduced to the ceremony of consecration of the great statue of Maitreya realized at the monastery of Diskit, personally officiated by H. H. Dalai Lama.
